MnemonicCarrier · On Creating PHP 7 extensions for Linux and Windows ·

Thank you sooooooo much for taking the time and effort to write about this! It's exactly what I'm looking for (I'm just starting to learn how to write PHP extensions for PHP 7.2).

I have managed to follow your tutorial, compiled everything, and can execute:

$obj = new Lytrax\Test(123);
$obj->shift(4);
echo "Current gear: " . $obj->getCurrentGear() . "\n";

I just don't understand how to call the doTest() method:

HP_METHOD(Test, doTest)
{
zval *args = NULL;
int argc, i;

What parameters are required?

If you still have the address you commented with, enter it below: a link is mailed to it, and you can delete the comment yourself at once. You can also do that from Manage my comment.

If you no longer have it, leave the address blank or give the one you remember, and tell the owner what you can about the comment and why you want it removed. The owner reads every request. A removed comment keeps its place in the thread, so the replies to it still make sense, but its name and words are gone.

This page answers the same whether or not the address matches, so it tells nobody who wrote what. What you send here is deleted once the owner has decided.
